HIV+ Kenyan man seeks Boniface Mwangi’s help to get castrated during Obama visit

A HIV-positive man has sought help from a Kenyan activist to get castrated claiming it will help “stop the spread of the virus”.
The man made the appeal to political activist Boniface Mwangi via Facebook.
Mwangi later made public the appeal on his Twitter account on Friday evening, albeit concealing the man’s identity. He wrote: “Received this message via my Facebook page. I have no idea how to help. Anyone? #ObamaInKenya.”
The man’s message was: “hello. am from nairobi and HIV+. Am humbly requesting for your assistance in highlighting the plight of HIV/Aids in our country and expose the exploitation that poor HIV+ victims undergo. I wish to act when the wrold’s attention is focused on Kenya when President Obama visits. My plan is to voluntarily get castrated, which in a way, is a most effective way of ending the spread the scourge. Moreover, it is a biblicle ……MATTHEW 5:30. Please assist with logistics. Thank you. (sic)”.
BIBLE VERSE
It is not clear how castration will end the spread of the scourge. The bible verse reads: “And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.” And it appears that he might get what he wants.
A man called Martin Njuguna responded: “@bonifacemwangi Hahaha! I’m your logistics guy. Refer him to me.
Mwangi said: “@TheBrooder Yes you are. I give him your number? For real” to which Njuguna responded, “@bonifacemwangi For real. Can organise trip to Nyeri. :-)”
The World Health Organization lists just three ways of reining in the scourge: abstinence, being faithful to one uninfected partner (you should also be uninfected) and use of condoms.
However, in 2006, scientists said that circumcision can reduce the rate of HIV infection in heterosexual men by 50%, relying on results from two African trials.
DJ Pierra’s new song fails to impress fans

DJ Pierra Makena this week made a debut in the music world with a rendition of a Taarab song Vidonge, but which she has christened Wape.
In the video, the well-endowed Pierra gyrates to the beats and is also shown at a DJ’s unit. A huge chunk of the R-Kay-produced song rendered using auto tune.
But the high-flying deejay, who has metamorphosed from an actress to a radio presenter now, a DJ and now singer, appears not to have impressed her fan base, if the comments on the song on YouTube are anything to go by.
Catherine Mwangi commented: “LMAO… Nooooooooo! Mahn I blame KOT for making me view this!!Bad bad bad.”
Mr. Majani wrote: “I can’t help but feel this lady is being forced on us by her admirers in the entertainment industry. Little talent but I guess a big ass is all you need to make it in Kenya.”
‘BAD TALENT’
But Sam Arum was perhaps the meanest, commenting: “Nice video…. also bad talent. Maybe this money should have been contributed to a children’s home instead.”
And James Kimuli had words of wisdom: “Hey I like your spirit, no need for me to kill your dreams by commenting bad stuff. But I can help you. Ask these vocalists how to control your vocals. Sauti Sol’s Bien-Aime Baraza or Ian Mbugua of TPF. Keep it up Pierra.”
Mike Ithuggie weighed in: “Eeh.. don’t give up your day job. Nice figure though.”
Gitonga Kelvin wrote: “The vocals definitely need improvement. Nice curves though, but how about some originality with the dance moves… they scream Shakira and Rihanna.”
The song was originally done by Tanzania’s Malika (Asha Abdow Suleiman).
Ten most disgusting delicacies

The US business magazine Forbes published a list of 10 of the most stomach-churning dishes a few months ago.
As trade, tourism and technology shrink the globe, people have been increasingly exposed to unfamiliar food from diverse cuisines, prompting leading sources of information such as CNN and Forbes to compile lists of the most putrid dishes of the season.
Snake wine, fermented duck eggs and beans that have passed through a cat’s digestive system are only three of the 10 of the sickening dishes, originating from regions from the Central Asian Steppes to Norway.
The Forbes list is a treasure map for those who have been searching for culinary novelty, no matter what the effect are on their stomachs.
The list certainly does seem off-putting. Italy, the home country of pasta, pizza and all things delizioso, is also home to casu marzu, which is sheep’s milk cheese containing live fly larvae. The insects eat the cheese then excrete it back out, softening and enhancing the flavour. It’s then up to you whether you want to eat the cheese with a light dusting of maggots or without.
On the other hand, some extreme delicacies sound vile but offer tastes that may even be pleasant to frequent visitors of KFC or Galito’s. For example, escamoles is a Mexican dish of ant larvae found in the roots of agave plants. Despite its unpleasant description, the larvae have a nutty, buttery taste that has earned them the name “Mexican caviar.”
Why scarf down on food that makes you want to vomit instead of delighting in a mouthwatering hamburger with French fries on the side?
If you are of the belief that you should try anything and everything once, then you should strive to try them.
Here are the Top 10 disgusting delicacies
1. Kumis fermented mare’s milk – originated in Mongolia.
2. Hakarl Fermented shark meat in Iceland – has a powerful smell of ammonia and a consistency like cheese.
3. Snake wine – Snake infused spirits which are believed to offer a number of medicinal benefits, including boosted libido.
4. Balut – fertilized duck egg from the Philippines.
5. Kopi luwuk Coffee beans digested by an Indonesian civet cat.
6. Drunken shrimp Live shrimps doused in alcohol.
7. Birds’ nest soup – Nests of cave swifts. The birds’ saliva gives the soup its distinctive gooey texture.
8. Century aging duck eggs from China.
9. Casu marzu sheep’s milk cheese containing live fly larvae.
10. Smalahove smoked sheep’s head served in Norway.
Rare ‘wedding’ at groom’s funeral

John Mwangi’s wife knew what her husband wanted and she gave him exactly that on his burial day — a “wedding”.
Ms Irene Chepkemboi wept hysterically for the loss of a man she had lived with for seven years, the father of their two children — Teresiah Wangare, 5, and two-year-old David Macharia.
Mr Mwangi died on the eve of his wedding, when his vehicle plunged into the Kirandich Dam in Kabarnet, Baringo County. He had gone to the area to collect his in-laws for the big day.
Mr Mwangi and his wife had invited a comedian to emcee at the wedding. The comedian turned up for the funeral to provide comic relief at the sombre occasion, as friends and relatives mourned a man who had sought to solemnise his marriage to his childhood sweetheart.
The guest list for the funeral on Thursday was the same one that would have been used during the wedding.
Ms Chepkemboi was dressed in a red outfit, which she would have worn on the wedding. The bridal party was also dressed in matching red.
Speakers described Mr Mwangi as a humble man who had worked hard for both the church and society in general.
The St Luke’s Catholic Church Parish priest, Fr Peter Njoroge, said Mr Mwangi had grown up in church and changed the lives of many people in the various capacities he served.
KIND AND OUTGOING MAN
“Being one of the pioneers of St Luke’s Church Meloreni, Mwangi had impacted many people, especially the youth, who looked up to him,” said Fr Njoroge.
Ms Chepkemboi is expecting their third child. Unfortunately, the baby will not meet its father.
The best man, Mr Peter Muhoro, said he had known Mr Mwangi for being a kind and outgoing man.
He said the couple had undergone counselling to ensure they would perform a bigger role in church, and all preparations for the wedding had been done before tragedy struck.
This saw the wedding committee’s role changing. This time it was dealing with the funeral.
Mr Mwangi’s uncle, Mr Francis Njoroge, said relatives had accepted Ms Chepkemoi as part of the family, and had welcomed their plan to be joined in holy matrimony.
Plenty of food was served at the funeral, which was attended by hundreds of people, with Ms Chepkemoi urging them to eat as much as they could, as Mr Mwangi would have wanted.
A five-tier cake that was meant for the wedding was also served at the funeral.
Keeping it clean: Instagram blacklists #curvy

In an effort to keep Instagram clean, a handful of hashtags are banned; #naked #nude #weed #sex are among those blacklisted. But now, so is #curvy, which isn’t sitting well with some users.
The hashtag is generally employed on posts to convey body-positivity and acceptance, a movement that has found a home on social media, which has in turn fostered its growth.
#Curvygirl, #curvyfashion, #curvywomen, and more derivatives are all allowed, but the single word doesn’t pass on Instagram. So why has Instagram deemed this term inappropriate?
According to Buzz feed, a spokesperson from Instagram told them:
“Please note that the block has nothing to do with the term “curvy” itself. We block (i.e. make unsearchable) certain hashtags when are consistently being used to share images and videos that violate our Community Guidelines. In this case, #curvy was being used to share content that violates our guidelines around nudity.”
INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT
One could argue that plenty of other hashtags pull up inappropriate content. Try #freethenipple, for example. To which Instagram says they “only [block hashtags] when they are consistently being used share content that violates our guidelines.” Like #eggplant, which also yields zero results.
Interestingly, #thin and #skinny, although met with a warning, have not been removed despite the fact that they’re linked to unhealthy behaviors and thinking.
Whatever the real reason, users are up in arms.
“Over the past few years, Instagram has grown to be a platform where the plus-size community can connect on many levels,” said one user.
Another one added that: “It saddens me that #curvy is no longer a ‘searchable’ term, but I know that this is just a small roadblock for the plus-size community — and we will continue to find new hashtags to further positive plus-size messaging.”
Kenya sevens team paid salary arrears

Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has finally paid the Kenya Sevens management and the players their two-month salary arrears.
The union has also committed to paying their July salaries on time but the Kenya Sevens high performance programme remains suspended until the Union’s board meeting on July 29 that will give direction.
Team manager, Steve Sewe said the Kenya Sevens management met director in charge of squads and elite training, Oscar Mango and development manager, Michael “Tank” Otieno on Thursday.
The Union officials also met the Kenya seven players on Friday to discuss the happenings in the team.
The players’ contracts end July 31 while the contracts of some members end on August 31.
South Africans, deputy coach, Vuyo Zangqua and strength and conditioning coach, Graham Bentz’ contracts end in September 2016.
BOARD MEETING
“We told them why we addressed the press conference on Friday July 10. We felt our problems were not being tackled as a team and nobody was listening to us,” said Sewe. “We have been told to wait until the board meeting to know our fate.”
Sewe accompanied by Zangqua, Bentz, Kenya Sevens captain Andrew Amonde and his deputy Collins Injera last week told a press conference that they would not resume training since they had not been paid their salaries for three months.
On Tuesday this week, the Union ordered Zangqua and Bentz to leave the country saying they would be recalled when Kenya Sevens high performance programme has been reorganised.
However, the South African tacticians declined to leave saying they still had contracts with Kenya Sevens ending in September 2016.
Kenya Sevens was to start preparations on Monday this week but the players and team management stayed away from training.
The wrangles between Kenya Sevens team and the Union could jeopardise Kenya’s preparations for the 2016 Rio Olympics qualifying tournament due November in South Africa and the 2015/2016 World Rugby Sevens Series that get underway in December.
Flamboyant Senator Sonko now a graduate

He isn’t your ordinary politician. Nor is he the ordinary university graduate. In his characteristic flamboyance, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko on Saturday arrived for his graduation at Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) in Meru in three choppers and a fleet of flashy vehicles.
A pamphlet for the university’s 15th graduation ceremony showed Mike Sonko Mbuvi Kioko graduated with a Second Class Honours Upper Division degree in Business Administration.
Mr Sonko was accompanied by his wife Primrose, his daughters and Baby Satrine Osinya who was thrust into the limelight after he was injured in an attack at the Joy in Jesus International Ministry Church in Likoni, Mombasa in 2014.

Clad in a blue shirt, a stripped red tie and black leather shoes with a brown shade and a graduation gown, the senator was the centre of the attraction during the ceremony that was graced by Deputy President William Ruto and other politicians.
As Mr Sonko arrived at the main graduation square at around 10:30 am accompanied by former Kamukunji MP Simon Mbugua, photojournalists jostled to get the best shots.
EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP
Mr Sonko later refuted claims that he acquired the degree in the quest to unseat Dr Evans Kidero as the Nairobi governor.
“I acquired wealth when I was a teenager and despised education which was a wrong decision. I have realized to be a true leader, education is a prerequisite. Without education, leadership will be very difficult,” he said.
The senator said he would further his education and will soon enroll for his masters classes.

In his speech, Deputy President William Ruto said universities in the country should refrain from becoming ethnic bastions and instead help embrace cohesiveness.
Mr Ruto said the government was working to stop universities from becoming incubators tribalism.
“The government expects that universities must run away from the culture of tribalism and their management should respect and reflect the national image,” Mr Ruto said.
Strengthen ties with Kenya, Mudavadi urges Britain

The United Kingdom government has assured Kenya of continued military, counter terrorism, defence and intelligence cooperation.
The commitment was made during talks between Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Nic Hailey, the Director of African Affairs in the UK Foreign Commonwealth Office.
“Kenya is an important socio-political and economical and diplomatic hub of East Africa and major tourist attraction for the British. Our policy remains one of strengthening our strong historical diplomatic ties,” stressed Hailey.
Mudavadi, who is on an extended visit in London to meet government, political and business leaders, welcomed the UK government recognition of the importance on Kenya and England’s diplomatic affairs.
SHARED INTERESTS
“Mutual reciprocity is the currency of modern diplomacy. No country is less important or more secure. We have shared interests to secure the world for all peoples as a community of nations,” said Mudavadi.
Both Mudavadi and Hailey stressed the importance of internal and external security particularly on terrorism and youth radicalization in both countries.
“We agreed to explore joint efforts in terrorism prevention given that some British nationals have been involved in terror attacks in Kenya,” Mudavadi said.
Mudavadi was accompanied by among others Grace Cerere, the Minister Counsellor in Kenya High Commission.
One too many Tusker blackouts Sofapaka

Red hot Tusker skipper Jesse Were claimed his second hat trick of the season on Saturday evening as a rejuvenated Tusker ended their six-year winless streak against Sofapaka with an empathic 5-0 victory at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
It was a miserable afternoon for Batoto ba Mungu who saw their long standing record against the Brewers torn to shreds in cruel fashion.
And it was non other than their former coach, the Dutch trained Francis Kimanzi, now calling the shots at the brewers dug out, who masterminded the demolition thanks to his side’s fluid passing game.
Skipper Were opened his goals account from the spot in the 21st minute before completing his hattrick after the interval.
His treble of goals took his season’s tally to 16 on top of the goal scorers’ chart from 19 matches. He has now scored four more goals than closest challenger for the golden boot Michael Olunga of Gor Mahia.
Centre half Eugene Asike was also on target sweeping home the second goal on the stroke of half time to punish his former employers.
TERRIBLE OUTCOME
As a jaded Sofapaka was still reeling from the shock of falling behind in the match, Noah Wafula twisted the knife in their back, scoring his first goal in a Tusker shirt straight after the break from Joackins Atudo right flank delivery.
Tusker have now scored eleven goals in three matches, the best tally in the league in the last three rounds.
Sofapaka’s misery was made worse with two missed penalties with John Baraza and Ezekiel Odera the culprits.
This was their second defeat on the bounce having suffered a 2-0 loss to Kenya Commercial Bank in their last outing.
“This is terrible. I can’t remember the last time I lost by such a huge margin. It was due to lack of tactical discipline,” Sofapaka coach Sam Timbe said after the match.
Tusker coach Kimanzi said the victory was a reward for his boys, who are now showing a hunger for success.
“Right now, if you watch them play, you can see that everyone wants to score and its good for the team,” Kimanzi said.
MISSED PENALTY
At Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium, Ulinzi Stars welcomed back head coach Robert Matano with a 2-0 win over Ushuru. Matano has been away from the touchline on sick leave.
The soldiers, who are lying in second position in the standings on 37 points, scored their match opener in the 20th minute through Eric Apul who soared high to head home Kevin Amwayi’s corner.
On resumption, Ken Kenyatta’s Ushuru should have leveled the scores when hey were awarded a penalty kick but Charles Okwemba missed from the spot.
They were made to pay for it in the 65th minute when Ulinzi’s towering striker Oscar Wamalwa unleashed a fierce left footer that caught Ushuru custodian Ali Kimera flat footed.
At the Moi Stadiumi in Kisumu, a solitary goal by Joshua Oyoo in the first half was enough to hand Chemelil Sugar a deserved victory over KCB, while in Muhoroni, a goal by Wycliffe Ochomo secured a 1-0 win for Muhoroni Youth over visiting Bandari.
KPL Results:
Sofapaka 0 Tusker 5
Ulinzi Stars 2 Ushuru 0
Chemelil Sugar 1 KCB 0
Muhoroni Youth 1 Bandari 0
Obama’s exclusion of K’Ogelo from his itinerary disappoints residents

Residents of K’Ogelo village are saddened by Thursday’s announcement that US President Barack Obama will not visit the village when he comes to Kenya next week.
The residents, who had high expectations that President Obama would visit them, said the announcement made by US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec that Mr Obama had limited time was ‘sad news’.
Mr Godec said, in an interview on KTN’s Jeff Koinange Live show, on Thursday that it was difficult for the US President to visit his ancestral home.
Most of the residents who spoke to the Daily Nation however said they were still hoping that Obama would bring them goodies as much as he will not be at Kogelo in person.
Among the residents who expressed disappointment by the turn of events is Cynthia Mwende, 17, a form two student at Senator Obama Secondary, who appealed to US President to honour request put in a letter she wrote despite his decision to skip K’Ogelo.
LETTER TO OBAMA
Ms Mwende had written a letter to the US President requesting him to visit the school during his tour to help upgrade the school named after him to international status, purchase a bus for them as well as sponsor her colleagues.
“We (students) are disappointed with the decision for him not to visit our school, but we know that there is an important reason for the decision. We are confident that he read our letter and he will fulfill our requests” said Ms Mwende.
The Principal of the school Mr Elly Odongo who spoke on behalf of the teachers and students also said he is hopeful that Mr Obama will grant them their request.
“We had high hopes that Obama would visit K’Ogelo this time round. But protocol must be respected,” Mr Odongo said.
The US embassy has been categorical that President Obama’s itinerary for the Kenyan tour was still being worked on.
Kenya Simbas mail the much-fancied Spain

Kenya touched down six tries in a pulsating exchange of leads to stun Spain 36-27 in an international rugby test match at the RFUEA grounds on Saturday.
Outside centre Darwin Mukidza scored a brace of tries as second row Oliver Mang’eni, full-back Vincent Mose, left wing Jacob Ojee and substitute forward Lawrence Buyachi managed a try each for in Kenya’s sweet victory against Spain who are placed 20th compared to Kenya’s 30th in the World Rugby ranking. Mukidza made three conversions.
The Spaniards landed a penalty try besides tries from blindside flanker Bonan Anibal and left wing Nil Baro as fly-half Bradley Linklater curled over three conversions and three conversions.
DOMINANT DISPLAY
Spain took an early 3-0 lead with a penalty but Kenya would end the first half with a 17-6 lead from three tries and a conversion.
In the second half, Spain, who were dominant in scrummages, phases and lineouts, claw back to go infront 27-22 before Kenya turned on the style with open display to win.
It was Kenya’s second test victory after they had beaten Portugal 41-15 on May 30.
The victory should spur Kenya against Namibia whom they meet August 8 in their Africa Rugby Division 1A duel in Windhoek.
“I knew Spain would come out all guns blazing in the second half, so I told my players to minimize on their mistakes since Spain had a good kicker and I am glad we managed to win against such,” Kenya coach Jerome Paarwater said.
Gor Mahia bring down Yanga in Cecafa Cup opener

Kenyan champions Gor Mahia on Saturday rallied from a goal down to floor pre-tournament favourites and hosts Yanga SC 2-1 in their opening match of the Cecafa Club Championship tournament at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
K’Ogalo overcame an early setback after defender Dirkir Glay put the ball in his own net, to score twice through Harun Shakava and striker Michael Olunga in a thrilling match which the hosts finished with 10 men.
Shakava scored the equaliser after heading past Yanga keeper Ally Mustafa from a Karim Nizigiyimana free-kick after Godfrey Walusimbi had been brought down on the left flank in the 18th minute before Olunga grabbed the headlines with the winner a minute after the breather.
“These are only three points. It doesn’t mean that we shall have the remaining group matches any easier. Playing with an extra man always has a psychological effect, but Yanga were tough opponents” coach Frank Nuttall said after the match.
Yanga were heavily tipped to win the match, but their casual approach to the game raised questions over their credentials.
Nuttall opted for a refreshed line-up that included Innocent Wafula and Glay ahead of Ali Abondo and the injured Collins Okoth, while Yanga had the reliable Andre Countinho and Godfrey Mwashiuya lying in wait on bench.
Yanga fans, who had filled one half of the stadium, were first to celebrate after Glay slid in an own goal in an attempt to clear a dangerous cross from winger Donald Ngoma just five minutes into the match.
TURNING POINT
It took the Kenyan champions 12 minutes of trying before Shakava delivered the equaliser by rising highest to head in Nizigiyimana pin-point delivery.
The game then took a significant turning point in the 23rd minute when Zambia winger Ngoma received a second yellow card for smacking Shakava, and he was subsequently escorted to the locker rooms by his team manager amid loud jeers from the Simba SC and Gor Mahia fans.
In the remaining 24 minutes of the first half, Yanga recorded only one shot on target, while Olunga threatened consistently for his team on the other end.
In the 32nd minute, the 21-year-old found himself unmarked in front of Yanga’s goal, and he almost doubled the advantage but his shot went over the bar.
Olunga was felled inside the box in the 37th minute, but referee Ssali Mashood waved off his penalty appeal.
The two teams went into the break to raucous applause from their respective fans and barely a minute after resumption, Olunga nicked the ball from the opponent’s defenders and rushed homewards before rolling it calmly into the net to hand K’ogalo the lead.
Yanga coach Hans van der Plujim brought in Kpah Sherman for the tiring Simon Msuva in a bid to sharpen his front line but this proved unfruitful against the unrelenting K’Ogalo defence.
Yanga captain Nadur Haroub missed a penalty in the second half after Shakava had handled the ball in the box, with Oluoch picking his poorly taken “panenka” before releasing Olunga for an unfruitful counter attack on the opposite end.
How Mzee Ojwang and Vitimbi crew were kicked out of KBC

When they appeared to pay tribute to the deceased veteran comedian Benson Wanjau aka Mzee Ojwang on the NTVs’ The Trend with Larry Madowo, the Vitimbi crew looked sad and bitter.
Mary Khavere, better known as Mama Kayai on set, who all through the interview crossed her hands, said:
“KBC chased us one morning after all those years saying that we were old. They didn’t tell us what went wrong. That was very disrespectful of our careers”
“We left empty handed. They didn’t give us even a penny after firing us. The pan is still there even after all that time”
Until last year when the Vitimbi show went missing on the national broadcaster’s screen, it had been an all time classic to people of all ages for many years.
USED AND DUMPED
However, the Vitimbi crew confirmed that the show runs on GOtv Channel 4.
Gibson Mbugua also known as Prosecutor of the popular Vioja Mahakamani show said:
“The reason why Mzee Ojwang died in that state and the reason we do not earn a decent living is because there is no Art Policy in Kenya. We get used and dumped because we are not protected. We need to have a way of tapping talent and rewarding it as well.”
The Vitimbi crew said that they will remember the late Mzee Ojwang as a father and a role model to them. He will be buried n 29th July at Langa’ta Cemetry after a service at Nyayo Stadium.
“We are making plans to give Mzee a heroic and decent sendoff because he deserves it,” said Mbugua.
Boniface Mwangi desperate to get back his missing motorbike

Activist Boniface Mwangi is mad that his “girl” has been missing for a month. His 1000cc motorcycle, which he often calls his girlfriend, has not been with him since.
He is now a furious man ready to press charges against a mechanic who has “disappeared” with it.
On Saturday, he tweeted that the mechanic nicknamed Omosh was nowhere to be seen.
“Spot the bike, halla,” pleaded the former photojournalist known for organising grand demonstrations.
In a phone interview with Nairobi News, Mr Mwangi said the mechanic took the bike for repair but has been giving excuses for not returning it.
“He picked it from my office last month to repair it as it had developed some problems. But since then, he has been giving lame explanations on its whereabouts,” he said, adding that Omosh has been his regular mechanic.
On the same day he posted the tweet, he reported the matter at the Lang’ata police station.
“The officer investigating the matter called me and said he knew the mechanic and that he had told him to take the bike to the station on Sunday,” said Mr Mwangi.
The 32-year-old will be visiting the station at 2pm on Sunday with the hope that he will reunite with his treasured possession.
BONNY’S ‘GIRLFRIEND’
“I miss her,” he said, though he refused to divulge which name he has given her.
“A bike is like a girlfriend: nobody should mess with it. Like a wife, you feel uneasy to share it.”
Mr Mwangi said two other bikers have previously lodged complaints with the police over the same mechanic.
He said he is ready to forgive the errant technician if he returns the bike intact.
“My fear is that he may have harvested some parts. This is the same man who I gave Sh15,000 in May to buy spare parts but he never did so,” he said.
In May, the firebrand announced that he was selling the machine, which he bought second-hand in 2013, for Sh680,000. The bike had cost him Sh800,000, or “two Toyota Vitz cars” as he told Nairobi News.
“I have been around her type for 10 years and I can testify she is the best. However, our love has been one sided. She has always been there when I want her but I’m rarely there for her. She has dropped me once but I forgave her,” he wrote on the Facebook post.
“I love her so much and because she isn’t getting it as much as she likes I have to let her go. My family will miss her too,” he stated.
It appears he had not got a buyer before Omosh got hold of the bike and literally took him for a ride.
Itumbi: Waiter snubbed me for a mzungu patron

The Director of Digital Media in the Office of the President Mr Dennis Itumbi has sensationally claimed that he was racially discriminated at a local resort.
Mr Itumbi made the claim on his Facebook, a post that elicited varied reactions from his friends and followers on social media.
Mr Itumbi says that he alongside a friend, placed an order for drinks at the said resort, a request that was met by a response to the effect that the drinks were not available.
According to Mr Itumbi, the same brand of drinks were later served to a white man by the same waiter moments later.
“I always thought this Racism/Favouritism was abit exaggerated, but minutes ago I witnessed this at the @Emrald_Flamingo Beach Resort,” Itumbi wrote Facebook.
“We order soda and red bull with my long time buddy DJ @Pierre Makena and the waiter tells us it is out… that of course we accept.
“But us we sit at the counter immediately after the statement a mzungu comes and order for red bull and immediately after, red bull is found, I am literally shocked,” he concluded.
